Families Against Mandatory Minimums (FAMM) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1991 to challenge what they believed to be the inflexible and excessive penalties required by mandatory sentencing laws and are a national voice for fair and proportionate sentencing laws. "We shine a light on the human face of sentencing, advocate for state and federal sentencing reform, and mobilize thousands of individuals and families whose lives are adversely affected by unjust sentences."

FAMM has a "top 10" list of people who are currently in prison but should have their sentences commuted or be pardoned, Lance is one of the people n the list.
