Lance Persson 03345-036 has been in Federal Prison for over 15 years.  The US Attorney who originally prosecuted Lance has since written that it is questionable if the charges could be prosecuted today giving the Court rulings since Lance's conviction.

 

No fair person can look at the circumstances involved and not come away with the belief that the punishment was excessive and that Lance has paid his "debt to society". Many people of have spent far less time in jail after having committed significantly more egregious offenses.
